The Ericsson 2020 vision of communication between objects to the benefit of humans, portrayed by STARK in the film “The Social Web of Things”, can add a Silver World Medal to its record of media attention and awards. This time as Television & Film finalist in the category Public Relations in the New York Festivals.

Maybe you’ve noticed already that Göteborg is changing shape to host the biggest venue ever in the city’s corporate history? At STARK, we are working at full speed to create an Astra Tech World Congress 2012 welcome reception that will be anything but ordinary. To host all 3,000 guests in case of rain, a unique tent construction has been designed and is currently being built on the quay outside the Göteborg Opera house.
We are proud to announce that one of our “babies”, the internal TV news magazine SKF Group News, has been awarded an Intermedia-globe Gold Award at the WorldMediaFestival. STARK has been producing SKF Group News – the very backbone of SKF corporation communication – since 1987. Hurray and thank you SKF!

We are happy to congratulate SKF, winner of the Guldskiftnyckel award, and proud that STARK’s exhibition concept met and exceeded expectations. Keep an eye on the blog for more to come from the Nordic MaintWorld Congress (Underhållsmässan) 2012.
The film “Nanotechnology – it’s a matter of size” was directed by STARK’s Mikael Wikström for Chalmers University of Technology. Through the simple use of animation, it explains what nano is about and draws attention to the possibilities offered to future students. Watch it, and get a new perspective on the notion of small.

Together with SKF, STARK takes a closer look at India for the upcoming edition of SKF Group News.

On March 9, STARK’s Managing Director Magnus Boldyn joins the party heading off to the South-by-Southwest conference (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, on the initiative of the West Sweden Chamber of Commerce. So what is SXSW? Well according to the organizer, it’s a great place to be inspired by amazing people who are doing incredible things to change the future. The variety of programming offered at SXSW appeals to creatives who push the cutting edge of change and want to discover new ideas that will lead to a better future. The trip was arranged as part of the Chamber of Commerce’s work with the vision for West Sweden, and more precisely to study how West Sweden can turn into the best meeting place in Europe for creative and cultural industries.

After intense planning and a great number of meetings, it was time for the Mölnlycke Health Care Management Conference in Lisbon. Surgical Division had asked STARK to help give their content an edge and increase the fun factor, which we did with sessions like The Heat is On product launch and Dragon’s Den creative workshop. Master of ceremonies Erik Blix made sure that there wasn’t a dull moment although serious matters were treated and innovative results achieved.
The Volvo do Brasil Corporate Presentation “A better view” was filmed by STARK in different places in Brazil in the late summer of 2011. The film is a celebration of the determination, hard work and achievement of a company, as well as a continent. It features a special soundtrack with a distinctive beat that builds up a crescendo to accompany the vibrant images. It was much appreciated at its premier at the Fenatran 2011 trade fair for logistics & transportation in Saõ Paolo.
