At this year’s InnoTrans, the world’s largest rail transport industry trade fair, SKF selected STARK to not only attract fair attendees but to help them expand the experience through film. The initial idea was to have a few activities live streamed from the SKF booth, and to be published on the SKF Group’s Instagram account. But as the planning and pre-production evolved we realised that there were too many risks involved in doing a live stream, and that maybe streaming live was unnecessary, as long as we kept the “live feel” of the content. We found the answer with the Instagram Story.

When well produced, these short and snappy films give you the chance to interact with your Instagram audience in new and inspiring ways. This format is a guaranteed watch by your followers thus driving engagement and audience reach to your platform.

We had to come up with a new workflow to be able to edit and publish 10-15 videos in real time. Another challenge was to monitor and confine the interview statements to a maximum of 15 seconds, abiding by the Instagram Story frame duration allowance.

As a result, we produced and published 35 short films over 3 days.
