After 12 months and 100 days on location across the US and Canada, STARK has now delivered more than 40 films in 180 delivery formats in 3 languages to Volvo Trucks North America for the new VNR and VNL truck launches. Making this project the biggest in STARK’s history.
STARK film was selected as the sole film supplier of the Volvo Trucks NA launch campaign. Films produced included a brand film, feature/teaser films and news features. The project was completed in close collaboration with Volvo Trucks themselves and agency Forsman & Bodenfors for certain films like the Top 10 Stories.
Producer Rolf Jonasson, Creative Director Niclas Corn and Content Manager Stephanie Johansson made up the STARK team leading the project. Rolf and Niclas established the project’s concept, creative assembly and format delivery. After many years of professional alignment with Volvo Trucks, it was a prevailing partnership for the team.
Motivating Niclas was the challenge to determine a practical creative concept for a project of this size. The mission, how to combine 35 days of location scouting and 65 days of shooting into compatible footage that would remain up-to-date surpassing 3 years?
Stephanie was responsible for the content in the Top 10 stories for both the VNR and the VNL truck campaigns, a series of story features focusing on the Volvo team.
The STARK films from this project have been viewed over 6 million times on different online platforms, emphasising the importance of our affiliation with strong platforms and channels in the future.
