Stark Film are proud to accept the bronze certificate for creative excellence at the US International Film & Video Festival 2017, in the public relations category for SKF’s “Birds of a feather flock together”, Ferrari film. With more than 1000international entries from 28 countries, we are extremely grateful for this acknowledgment. Stark’s film is the only Swedish film production to receive an award.
STARK Film teamed up with their More Alliance partners to develop the Saab Car Museum series, featuring Peter Bäckström. A Rubrik idea, script and concept, in collaboration with MAD TERRIER and produced by Stark Film.
We visited the Saab car museum in Trollhättan, to shoot a series of short episodes about all things Saab, including areas of innovative history and car tips.
STARK has again surpassed entries from over 40 countries to win the Bronze World Medal in the Public Relations category of the 2017 New York Festivals. The winning film was SKF’s soon-to-be released “A Neverending Story” brand film.
Last summer, Volvo Trucks North America hired STARK to be the sole supplier of launch films for its new regional haul truck. Today, 10 months later, after filming more than 50 terabytes of material across the US and Canada, STARK has produced 18 separate films in 3 languages from a brand film to teasers to news features. This is STARK’s most extensive film project ever produced. We worked closely with Volvo Trucks on the overall project and with agency Forsman & Bodenfors on certain films. STARK would like to welcome our office newbies to the team. Introducing Jessica Loets and Georgia Hulse. Jessica Loets has joined Stark in the role of Film Producer. Jessica has widespread experience within the communications industry. Ranging from film producer at Bobby Digital Studios, to several years managing international accounts and marketing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Georgia Hulse joins us all the way from Australia, as our native English Copywriter and Reporter. Georgia has a strong academic background in the area of journalism and corporate communication, including many years of professional freelance experience and creative talent.
A short 2-3-minute-long film can sometimes contain up to 4 Terabytes of digital raw material. That’s a lot to store so uploading that to the Cloud or to portable hard drives isn’t a realistic option today. STARK has been using a Media Asset Management system for several years now, one that stores huge amounts of data and provides instant access to a massive film archive. But now we’ve invested in a new and improved online MAM system - one where our customers can easily login and see their film material from anywhere in the world.
We’re expanding and want three creative, talented and experienced people to join our STARK film team. We produce films for Swedish and international companies, strengthening brands through powerful storytelling. Today those customers demand the best from us, so we’re also looking for the best. STARK’s latest production for Volvo Trucks North America is the SuperTruck. This is the story of the five-year development of a Volvo Truck concept vehicle that is 3000 pounds lighter, features 40% less drag and 70% better fuel efficiency.

STARK’s Art Director Patrik Castenbladh is helping in the search for the digital designers and creators of tomorrow. He will be interviewing those who have applied for the program Digital Designer at Yrgo, a vocational training school in Gothenburg.

The winning film was Volvo Trucks brand film, Real Change. The prize was officially announced at the New York Festivals award ceremony in Las Vegas April 19th, 2016.
